GroGel is and delicious gelatin that chicks won't be able to resist. It helps provide hydration, vitamins and nutrients, along with beneficial bacteria (probiotics), all to help babies get off to a good start. Simply mix the dry powder into water and allow to gel before offering to your chicks.
And the best part? Each packet provides enough powder for 100 doses, and can be used for turkey, pheasants and quail, too. Mixing instructions are on the packet.

I always give my chicks the GroGel Plus B upon pickup from the post office!!!! While My Pet Chicken chicks have always arrived healthy and alert, it does seem to give them an extra boost!!!!

Order with each chick order. It doesn't say how long to feed other than a few days after arrival but I see one person wrote they give the grow gel up to a month. I'm going to go with that as they love it, the smaller breed chicks are gaining energy and growing and none fail. Good Vit B vitamins essential for growth and immunity booster. Also good bacteria media and other vitamins that they need this early on. Why not give them a great start, they will repay in eggs and great health as adults.

GroGel is a great supplement for baby birds and is very helpful if the little ones are lethargic or weak when they arrive at their new homes. It provides immediate nutrition and hydration. Many flock keepers will spread it over their chick starter which attracts the babies to their important feed as well, providing an extra boost. While some will provide only for the first day or so; there should be no harm if it is continued in use as a supplement in addition to their chick starter. I just received my 7 baby chicks from the post, I brought a half batch of grogel plus B in a small tub, mixed with 1/4 c. Water (stirred with a plastic fork to fluff it up...it's like gelatin)...as soon as I could open their travel box and put the gel in my chicks attacked it....they're home now still eating it...and I sprinkled their feed on top which they're also gobbling. Very pleased with the grogel!!!

Didn’t come with good directions. My birds didn’t go for it al all. It was a waste of money.

I only mix up enough for the number of birds I get so one packet lasts quite a while.I use with every incoming shipment and also to help any who might not coming along as well or fast as other new chicks. They like the flavor and texture once shown what it is and happy get a croup full. They immediately perk up, have more energy, eyes are bright and clear. And are happily chittering around the cages. I use as a supplement the next day as well if there are any who might be behind or look like they are not feeling their best. I’ve found that a slightly more watery mixture but still solid enough to keep the gel shapes,helps them hydrate faster as well. A great product that I know for sure has saved several birds for me over the past several orders and made the rest much happier and healthier. I will continue to keep on hand and use.

I have been using “GroGel” over 5 yrs now for all my chicks for the 1st month of life Fe. It’s an absolute must.
the
I love to use it also for any weaker pulllets just to give them a boost if needed.
I always have a bag or two…
