This is your basic, economical waterer for baby birds, including standard-sized chicks, ducklings, goslings, poults (baby turkeys), keets (baby guineafowl), etnd more. This durable, one-quart waterer is perfect for a small brood of up to 15 chicks. We recommend purchasing two if you're expecting more than 15 chicks! The jug is translucent, so you can see the water level, and the red color of the base will attract your chicks to it.
If you're expecting bantam chicks in your order, or you're raising quail, you might want to use a bantam drown-proof chick waterer for the first week or two of life, or put marbles in the water base during those early weeks.
