Baby Chicks: Easter Egger

Very pretty chicken. She is the color of an autum maple leaf - yellows, oranges, tans. Juvenile now. She is active and friendly. I purchased 8 chicks. They arrived healthy (a day later than promised by the post office - but the post office very kindly called me and let me pick them up at 6:30 AM the following day when they arrived). All chicks appeared healthy. When I put them into their brooder box, they slowly became active, eating and drinking - except two that just stood still. I tried dipping their beaks in water, but no interest. After 30 minutes, they were still not moving around so I made sugar water and put some into a tiny spoon and kept lifting that to their beaks - after 3-4 dips they each took a swallow - all good from then on! After a few sips they started to walk around and within minutes were as lively as the rest! Healthy ever since! It seems that little sugar after a long ride in a box works wonders!

Our Puff is the just the sweetest. She’s calm, quiet and just super friendly. She is a bit of a loner but will join her sisters after she's had some alone time. She loves to chat with us and is everyone’s favorite!!! She laid a beautiful blue egg at 22 weeks!

I love my girls, they are now 5 weeks old. I purchased 4 easter eggers and their feathers are coming in.

We received our 25 chicks in great shape! The heat pack that was used to transport the chicks was still warm and All the birds were healthy and energetic! I have been a customer of My Pet Chicken for 13 years and I have no regrets buying from this company.

Our Easter Egger GIA (Gia Carangi) is in a class of her own! She’s pretty calm, and quiet unless provoked by other hens , very friendly especially to those of us her feed her, she loves her snacks and will feistily jump on my arm if I’m not sharing fast enough. She wanders often wanders off from the flock, going on her own adventures. She truly marches to the beat of her own drum, she’s the 1 out of the whole flock that doesn’t lay her eggs in any of the nesting boxes of the coop, she comfortably lays in a cozy corner of my greenhouse lol. She lays a gorgeous mint green/aqua colored egg (Started laying at 25 weeks). We just love her personality and her gorgeous eggs! I will be getting another EE as we expand our flock this year.

Our Easter egger is a super sweet chicken with a hilarious personality. She doesn’t like when you pet her, and dodges hands like a ninja. She’s also friendly, sits on your lap, and always wants to be close by helping with whatever we are doing. She’s gentle with her flock mates and lays beautiful large teal eggs.

They are beautiful, fluffy tuffs + muffs and the sweetest personality.

14 out of 15 made it!! These Easter eggers are very hardy chicks. Very active and already sociable. Just the one was very weak from the beginning, but nature is what it is. Plus it’s a long way from Ohio to Texas. Very well packed and shipped! You can’t go wrong with MyPetChicken!!
